An overview of how visa processing works with Travel Tracker, and what is expected of you at each stage. Requirements differ by country, so treat this as general guidance and follow the checklist we issue for your specific destination.
How the process works
- Consultation. We confirm the visa type you need, the current requirements and the realistic processing time.
- Document collection. You supply the documents on your checklist. Incomplete files are the most common cause of delay.
- File preparation. We check, arrange and, where needed, translate or attest your documents.
- Submission. We lodge the application and book biometrics or an interview appointment where required.
- Decision. The embassy decides. We track the file and inform you as soon as the outcome is available.
Documents usually required
- Passport valid at least six months beyond travel, with blank pages.
- Recent photographs meeting the embassy's exact size and background rules.
- Completed and signed application form.
- Bank statements and a bank solvency certificate covering the required period.
- Proof of occupation: trade licence, employer NOC and salary certificate, or student ID.
- Confirmed air ticket booking and hotel reservation.
- National ID, and for some destinations a marriage or birth certificate.

Processing times
Processing time is set by the embassy, not by us, and varies with season and application volume. Peak periods and public holidays extend it. Do not book non-refundable travel before your visa is issued.
Fees
Two charges apply: the embassy or centre fee, paid to the mission, and our processing service charge. Embassy fees are never refundable once an application is lodged, whatever the outcome.
Reducing the risk of refusal
- Submit genuine documents only. A single falsified document can lead to a long-term ban.
- Make sure bank statements show consistent, explainable activity rather than a sudden pre-application deposit.
- Keep your stated purpose, itinerary and supporting documents consistent with each other.
- Show clear ties to Bangladesh, such as employment, business or family.
- Apply in good time rather than requesting urgent processing.
If a visa is refused
The decision rests solely with the embassy and cannot be appealed by us. We will explain the stated reason where one is given and advise whether reapplying is sensible. Refunds in this situation are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
